Scholarship Lessons

For families who find it hard to make the financial investment in their child’s musical education, Faith Christian Music Studio offers two scholarship options.

Referral

  • Scholarship is granted upon the successful referral and enrollment of other students.  For every student who is referred and enrolled through your recommendation, lesson minutes will be added to your child’s scholarship plan.
    • Lesson minute credits are added based on the length of lesson that every referred student enrolls for (Ex:  A referred student signs up for 30 minute weekly lessons.  Your lesson minute credits will be 30 minutes.)
    • The most effective way of earning scholarship minutes is through the referral/enrollment of the group preparatory classes for ages 3-6 (Ex: You tell 10 of your friends about the preparatory class.  8 of them enroll their preschool/kindergarten student in a 60 minute weekly preparatory class due to your referral.  Therefore, you receive 400 (8 x 60) lesson-minute credits for your scholarship plan.)  Any type of referral/enrollment will be credited, but this method is the most effective.
    • Every lesson your child takes will use these lesson-minute credits according to the length of the lesson (Ex: if your child enrolls for 30 minute weekly lessons with 400 lesson-minute credits, lessons will last for 13 weeks)
    • You may use these lesson-minute credits any way you please.  You may enroll your child for any type of lesson.
    • To extend the use of these minutes, credits can be applied along with discounted tuition (Ex: You enroll for 30 minute weekly private lessons with 400 lesson-minute credits.  You pay half of the tuition per month ($40) while applying 15 minutes of credit to each lesson.  With this plan, a student would be able to take lessons  for 26 weeks.)  You may choose how much tuition is discounted in accordance with the lesson-minute credits applied.
    • When lesson minutes run out, lessons will cease unless more credits are procured or monthly tuition is payed.
    • Trading Services

Scholarships can also be awarded to those who wish to trade a service that is of need to the teacher.  However, these scholarship students must demonstrate a dedication and interest in their lessons.  Otherwise, the arrangement will be discontinued.
