Brittany Smith

Piano Teacher

Brittany Smith is classical-trained piano teacher in Waxhaw, North Carolina. She has 25 years of experience in the study of piano performance. Her passions lie in encouraging students to see the beauty in the music and communicating that beauty to an audience. Excellence and hard work is vital to her teaching methods. She continues her professional development through participation in the Charlotte Piano Teacher’s Forum. She currently offers piano lessons on location at Bethel Christian Fellowship.

Angela Adamo - Piano Teacher in Waxhaw.

Angela Adamo

Piano Teacher

Angela Adamo (formerly Voskuil) is a classically trained pianist with a degree in music education from Winthrop University, who is now piano teacher in Waxhaw. She has over 15 years of teaching experience, providing lessons to dozens of students, from beginners to advanced. Originally from Waxhaw NC, Angela lived in Africa as a missionary for seven years, where she continued to teach piano to missionary children. After that, she met her husband Ben and moved to the Netherlands for two years. Now they live in Charlotte, NC. She currently offers piano lessons on location at Bethel Christian Fellowship and piano lessons in-home.

Diana Chiorean

Piano Teacher

Diana Chiorean is a classical-trained piano teacher with a Bachelor Degree in Music Pedagogy and Piano Performance. She started her piano education at the age of 6 in a Music and Arts school and continued her musical education for 16 years studying piano, music theory, music history, harmony and orchestration.  She started teaching piano after graduating university in Romania where she is from and later moved to America and continued teaching. She was a church pianist for over 25 years performing at Christmas concerts and regular/special services. She enjoys teaching ambitious students who put in the hard work and are passionate about learning music and piano performance. She lives in Waxhaw, NC with her husband and two children and enjoys taking walks, and spending time with her family. 

Diana’s Highlights

  • 4 years University level piano training under profesor-pianist Dr. Daniel Goiți
  • 16 years of Music School education 
  • Over 30 years performing experience 
  • Over 10 years teaching experience
  • Bachelor degree with a major in Music Pedagogy and a minor in Piano Performance. 

Eilidh Anderson

Violin & Piano Teacher

Eilidh Anderson is a violinist and pianist from Charlotte, NC, with 15 years of experience in the study of violin performance. She performs regularly with the UNC Charlotte orchestra where she will be completing a minor in music performance in December 2026. She also frequently accompanies worship on both the piano and violin. Eilidh is passionate about helping her students to find the joy in music and share that joy with others, as well as to cultivate their musical gifts for service to the church.

Jon Jamison

Guitar Teacher

Jon Jamison is a guitarist and music educator from the Charlotte area with over 20 years of experience studying and performing music. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Jazz Performance from Winthrop University in 2008 after studying guitar with Mike Pitts in Raleigh, NC. Jon has taught private guitar and ukulele lessons for many years, including at OnStage School of Music, and is passionate about helping students develop both musical skill and a lifelong love for music. He also serves on the praise band at Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church, where he enjoys using music to support worship and encourage others in their faith.

Jon’s Highlights

  • Experienced in jazz, contemporary, and worship music styles
  • Over 20 years of guitar study and performance experience
  • Studied guitar under Mike Pitts in Raleigh, NC
